At first, the Hughes noticed just a couple of bees in their Texas home. When that grew to 20 to 30 bees at a time, the Hughes called in a professional.

Aaron Garcia, a beekeeper with Bee Charmer, told WFAA that he noticed bee activity on the side of the Hughes home. Upon closer examination, Garcia discovered a five-foot-long, 160-pound beehive. Garcia said the hive was stacked like a file cabinet and was a foot tall, with honey accounting for a good amount of the weight. He estimated from the color of the hive that it had been there for a year.

Garcia was able to safely relocate the queen and the hive. He told WFAA that it was the second-largest hive he's seen this year.
