Astronaut Terry W. Virts paid tribute to the late "Star Trek" star Leonard Nimoy with a Vulcan salute from space.
Virts tweeted a photo of the salute Saturday from the International Space Station.
Nimoy, best known for his role as Mr. Spock, died Friday at age 83. He recently tweeted that he had chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
