Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump didn’t write the letter to the editor in Sunday’s Tampa Bay Times, but to many readers, it sure sounds like he could have.

Terry Vaught, of Dover, is actually the man who penned the humorous letter that is going viral for capturing Trump in spirit.

The letter begins with the heading, “My letters are so great” and continues in that tone, with Vaught saying he writes “fabulous letters” while other letter writers are “weak, soft and out of touch.”

Vaught wraps up the letter by guaranteeing that his letter will be picked as the letter of the month, otherwise the “contest is rigged.”

In true Trump fashion, Vaught told CNN that he was miffed that the newspaper edited out the best parts of the letter, which included a reference to Trump's infamous wall proposal.
