Mother, children killed in Carroll County wreck
A woman and her two children were killed in a triple fatality wreck in Carroll County about 8:50 Friday morning.
Arletha Turner and her children Elicia Turner, 12, and Roderick Turner, 9, died at the scene when the vehicle they were riding in crossed the center line and struck another, according to the Georgia State Patrol.
They were traveling northbound on Ga 113 in a 2006 Toyota Corolla driven by Nicholas Askew, 17.
Their car collided head on with a 2002 Toyota Tacoma driven by Cody Sanders.
The drivers of both vehicles were airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital.
The state patrol is investigating the wreck.
