Fulton County police Wednesday issued Mattie’s Call alerts for an elderly man and woman reported missing Tuesday evening.

William Sullivan, 86, and Sara Nelson, 76, were last seen about 6 p.m. Tuesday leaving their home on Deerfield Trail near College Park in their black 2004 Chevrolet Impala with Georgia license PWY1030, Fulton police spokeswoman Kay Lester said.

Lester said Sullivan and Nelson were headed to a church off Washington Road, but never made it.

“They do not have cellphone contact because they left their phones at home,” Lester said in an email. “Checks of the church and other frequented spots have been made in an attempt to locate them.”

Lester said Nelson, who has been diagnosed with dementia, is about 5-foot-4, weighs 155 pounds and has gray hair. She was last seen wearing pink sweat pants and a light pink shirt.

Sullivan is about 5-foot-10, weighs 165 pounds and has balding, gray hair. He was last seen wearing green pants, a green shirt, a khaki jacket and a brown hat.

Anyone with any information about the pair’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Fulton County Police Department at 404-613-9116.
