Marietta police: Avoid Whitlock Avenue this morning

The Marietta Police Department advises drivers to avoid Whitlock Avenue this morning because of a traffic accident.

A vehicle crash has closed Whitlock between John Ward Road and Dallas Circle, and will require a detour of traffic for about an hour.

Drivers are advised to use Burnt Hickory Road as an alternate route.
