One person died Sunday in a late night fire at a mobile home park in Cobb County, authorities said.
The fire was reported at 10:55 p.m. Sunday in a trailer at the Fair Oaks Mobile Home Park in the 1200 block of Atlanta Road, according to Cobb fire spokeswoman Denell Boyd.
Boyd said firefighters arriving four minutes later were told that a man was still inside. After making a “fast attack” and suppressing the flames, firefighters found the dead victim, she said.
The man’s name has not been released.
“The fire origin has been determined to be the bedroom where the victim was found,” Boyd said. “Cause is still under investigation.”
