Police are looking for the person who fatally shot a man Wednesday night in southeast Atlanta.

The deadly incident happened in the 300 block of Thomasville Boulevard just before 10:30 p.m.

The victim, identified Thursday morning as 19-year-old Lewis Anderson, and another man who resides at the Thomasville Boulevard address got into an argument.

“At some point during the verbal altercation,” Atlanta police Officer Kim Jones said, “the victim was shot one time in the upper torso. The victim expired on the scene and the shooter fled the scene.”

A description of the shooter was not immediately available.
