A 23-year-old man has been arrested in the death of a 72-year-old man in Conyers, police said Thursday.
Conyers police spokeswoman Kim Lucas told Channel 2 Action News some sort of struggle between the victim and the suspect in a residence in the 1000 block of Pine Street preceded the deadly incident, which occurred about midnight.
The exact cause of death is unknown at this time, Lucas told the news station.
The suspect, Daniel Shaw, was arrested, Lucas said. Shaw and the victim, identified as James Roberts, knew each other, police said.
No other details, including charges against Shaw, were immediately available.
