Zoo promotion breaks attendance record
Zoo Atlanta’s recent Walmart Sunday Funday $5 admission promotion resulted in a record-breaking turnout. On Feb. 26, 20,288 guests visited the zoo, the highest number since it opened in 1889. The figure also broke the previous one-day record of 12,814 set during spring break in 2009.
