A Cherokee County teenager tipped police off to his illegal activities by posting videos online, police said.

Deputies initially went to the Cedar Mill Crossing home of Arthur Arnold searching for weapons Wednesday, Lt. Jay Baker with the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office told the AJC. Videos posted on YouTube showed Arnold, 18, shooting a weapon from his Acworth-area home and from property behind his home, Baker said. Those videos have since been removed from the website.

A SWAT team searching the home also found 22 marijuana plants, worth an estimated $24,000, Baker said. Additionally, a neighbor told investigators Arnold had attempted to solicit someone for sex.

Arnold, who lived in his parents' home, was arrested and charged with reckless conduct, criminal trespass, manufacturing marijuana, solicitation of sodomy, and possession of marijuana.

He was booked into the Cherokee County jail, where he remained Friday without bond.
