Woodstock man crushed by forklift
An employee at Little River Marina on Lake Allatoona was crushed by a forklift late Wedneday morning in what officials are calling a workplace accident.
Josh Roberts, 21, of Woodstock, was pronounced dead on the scene, said Cherokee County Sheriff’s office spokesman Lt. Jay Baker.
Investigators from the sheriff’s office and OSHA remain at the marina, located on Bells Ferry Road, said Baker, though foul play is not suspected.
