The Woodstock City Council will go on an annual retreat later this month to take stock of the past year and plan for the future.

Mayor Donnie Henriques, city council members, department heads and other city staff will gather at noon Jan. 29 and 8 a.m. Jan. 30 at Magnolia Hall, 108 Arnold Mill Road.

Mayor Jeff Moon said a facilitator will work with city council members looking at this past year’s performance on such long-term priorities as widening of Arnold Mill Road/Towne Lake Parkway and expansion of the Greenprints trail network, as well as short-term goals such as clarifying municipal court jurisdiction on I-575 and an in-house salary study.

Commissioners will hear reports from department heads as well, before laying out a slate of priorities going forward.
