The Woodstock Planning Commission Thursday will hold a public hearing on the request for a conditional use permit to set up a tobacco specialty shop at 9745 Ga. 92.
Applicant Harminder Thind of Springdale Arkansas’s applied for a permit to set up a “vape” or e-cigarette retail store in the strip shopping center. The applicant said no product “tasting” will occur on site and that the store will be limited to e-cigarette devices and accessories, without any products being carried for the burning or smoking of other tobacco materials.
A planning committee recommended approval of the permit on Oct 21.
The commission meeting is set for 7 p.m. Thursday at the Chambers at City Center, 8534 Main St.
