Woman found dead in condo near I-85 in DeKalb

Dec 1, 2013DeKalb County police are investigating the apparent shooting death of a woman whose body was found Saturday inside her condominium.
The woman, whose name has not been released, was found on the floor of her home at the Georgetown condominiums on Colonial Way near I-85 around 10 a.m. Saturday after friends couldn’t contact her, Channel 2 Action News reported.
DeKalb police Lt. Mark Lavigne told Channel 2 that the death of the woman, who was in her 40s, “does not appear to be random.”
There were no signs of forced entry into the condo, detectives told the station.
