Wild hogs are no longer on the loose at two Douglas County middle schools.

Crews captured the wayward animals at Factory Shoals Middle School and the nearby alternative school after employees alerted authorities, Channel 2 Action News reported.

The schools are in wooded areas and officials believe the hogs dug underneath the fences to get onto school property.

More hogs may have been spotted at Factory Shoals Elementary School, according to a parent who reached out to Channel 2, though the school district said it is not aware of any other hog sightings.
