Wells Fargo Bank is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a gunman who robbed one of its bank branches near Lilburn on Friday morning, Gwinnett County police said.

The man walked into the Wells Fargo at 1028 Killian Hill Road about 10:30 a.m., jumped the teller counter and obtained an unknown amount of money at gunpoint, police said. No one was injured in the robbery.

The man then fled to a waiting vehicle, a burgundy-colored 2000 to 2005 model Chevrolet Impala, police said. The vehicle had Tennessee tags and body damage to the right rear fender. Anyone who sees the getaway car should call 911, police said.

The case is being investigated by the FBI and members of the Gwinnett police robbery unit. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Gwinnett detectives at 770-513-5300.
