Voter registration deadline is Oct. 10 for Cobb races

Oct. 10 is the voter registration and address change deadline for city and special elections in Cobb County.
On Nov. 7, several cities in Cobb will conduct elections except for Acworth since none of the incumbents faced opposition. A special election has been called for State Senate District 6 to replace Hunter Hill who resigned to run for governor next year.
Only 18 precincts in the Smyrna/Vinings area will be included in the State Senate District 6 election.
