Organizers for the Vietnamese Community of Georgia say they expect to draw 5,000 people to their annual Lunar New Year Festival from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Live Oak Grand Ballroom, 6100 Live Oak Parkway in Norcross.

This years’ program will feature contests, including a breakdance/hip hop competition aimed at younger members of the community, said Kim Hanh Dang, the group's president. There will be children’s games, academic, talent and dress competitions and authentic Vietnamese food, she said.

Admission is $5. Children under 36 inches and people who wear an ao dai get in free. Visit www.vncga.com for more information.
