A man is facing a burglary charge in connection with a generator stolen from a Coweta County charity.

Daryl Deon Gamble was arrested Wednesday, just days after the Newnan nonprofit Bridging the Gap reported the theft, according to the sheriff’s office.

Gamble is one of three men suspected in the Saturday morning theft caught on surveillance video.

The charity uses a generator to take food to more than 70 families every week.

After more than 900 people shared Executive Director Alison Wallace’s post showing the theft, supporters pitched in and bought a new generator the next day.

Police are still looking for the other two suspects identified in the burglary.
