The Union City council recently approved entering into a contract with Hogan Construction Group LLC, not to exceed $5 million, for the renovations and reconstruction of the old Georgia Military College building.

At the called meeting, the council also approved a request to enter into a project fund agreement with BB&T in the amount of $1.1 million, and simultaneously a supplemental lease with the Georgia Municipal Association, Inc., to finance city equipment.

The council also OK’d entering into a contract with Wamar Technologies for citywide vehicle repair and maintenance.
