An honors student from the University of Georgia won a Marshall Scholarship, which pays for students to earn graduate degrees in the United Kingdom.
Matthew Sellers will graduate from UGA in May and pursue a master's degree in modern literature and a doctorate in English language and literature from Oxford University. He is the fifth UGA student to win the award over the past decade.
More than 800 students interviewed for the award and 36 were selected. Garrett Turner graduated from Emory University last spring and also received the scholarship.
