The University of Georgia selected a professor at the University of Missouri School of Journalism to serve as dean of the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication.
Charles Davis, who is also a facilitator for Missouri’s Media of the Future Initiative, is scheduled to begin July 1.
Davis has Georgia ties. He earned a master’s degree in journalism from UGA and a bachelor’s degree in criminology from North Georgia College.
