Two wounded in drive-by shooting

Fulton County police Friday were investigating an overnight drive-by shooting near Union City that left two people injured.

The male victims, ages 16 and 23, were walking along Flagstone Place around 11 p.m. when they were shot by someone in a passing car, police said.

The 16-year-old was grazed in the leg, and the 23-year-old suffered a gunshot wound to the groin, Fulton police spokesman Scott McBride told WSB-TV.

Their names have not been released, but police said both are expected to be okay.

Investigators have not determined a motive for the shooting.

“We do not have a description of the people in the vehicle or a tag number,” McBride said.
