Two people were shot early Tuesday following an argument at a southeast Atlanta sports bar.

The shooting happened about 1 a.m. in the middle of Moreland Avenue at Custer Avenue, outside the Driftwood Sports Bar and Grill.

“There was some type of altercation inside the club,” Atlanta police Capt. Tim Peek told Channel 2 Action News.

Peek said the victims “left that location, and unfortunately, the entire altercation came outside. The victims were down the street and were shot multiple times in the arms and legs.”

The victims were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital. Their identities and conditions were not immediately available.

Investigators were examining surveillance video from inside the club.
