DeKalb County reported two more raw sewage spills Thursday in Stone Mountain and Decatur.

About 7,800 gallons spilled into Snapfinger Creek in the 5000 block of Biffle Road and 1,575 gallons spilled into Sugar Creek in the 3100 block of Cottonwood Drive, according to watershed management reports.

In December, the federal Environmental Protection Agency issued a consent decree, mandating the county repairs its sewer system. In the past five years, more than 800 raw sewage spills have been reported in DeKalb.
