The Peachtree Corners City Council voted on 2017 SPLOST funding. Any monies received requires the city to match 19 percent for transportation joint projects and 24.6 percent for joint parks projects.
Peachtree Corners proposes using 100 percent of its joint projects on transportation, including Spalding Drive widening, as well as Spalding Drive operational and pedestrian safety improvements from Medlock Bridge Road to Data Drive.
The city will work to reconfigure State Route 141/Peachtree Industrial Boulevard from three lanes to four lanes southbound from Jimmy Carter Boulevard to Winters Chapel Road.
Other projects would include a capacity study, operational and pedestrian safety improvements on Peachtree Corners Circle from SR 141 to SR 140, on Bush Road at Medlock Bridge Road, SR 140/Holcomb Bridge Road at Spalding Drive, and Peachtree Industrial Boulevard at South Old Peachtree Road along with a roundabout feasibility study at Peachtree Corners Circle at West Jones Bridge Road.
