The Fayette County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved three appointments to local volunteer boards on Tuesday. Neely Moody, already an alternate on the county Ethics Board, will now fill an unexpired term until November 2016. Arnold Martin was named to a three-year term on the Planning Commission, and Marsha Hopkins will serve on the Zoning Board of Appeals through 2017.
The commissioners praised the quantity and quality of all of the applicants for the three positions. An announcement to fill the alternate position on the Ethics Board is pending.
