Atlanta police are looking for several suspects who swiped a cash machine from a Lakewood Avenue Family Dollar store early Tuesday.

Officers responded to a 5:30 a.m. alarm call at the Family Dollar on Lakewood Avenue near Metropolitan Parkway.

“Upon arrival, they discovered that the front doors had been pried open and the small ATM machine just inside the front doors was missing from the location,” Atlanta police Capt. Scott Kreher told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Kreher said security video showed that five or six males “fully dressed out with hoodies and gloves” got out of a blue Chrysler minivan, pried the front doors open, removed the ATM and left in the minivan.

“They were in and out in about a minute,” Kreher said. “It didn’t take them long at all.”
