A: The White House sends greetings to U.S. citizens for births, birthdays (80 years and above) and wedding anniversaries (50 years or more). Due to high demand, requests must be faxed to 1-202-456-2461 at least two months in advance, according to answers.usa.gov. For birthdays, provide the following information: Mr., Mrs., or Ms. by every name, date of birth with birth year and home address; for anniversaries, include the full names of bride and groom, date the couple was married and home address; for births, send the baby's full name, date of birth and home address.
Q: When will the local cable companies start providing 3D TV programs?

A: Comcast, which is the primary cable provider in metro Atlanta, has two 3D channels, a company spokeswoman told Q&A on the News in an email. It has XFINITY 3D, which offers music, sports, movies and original programming 24 hours a day, and ESPN 3D, which features the NBA playoffs and X Games, among other sporting events. Comcast also provides 3D movies and shows On Demand. The company is featuring "Dolphin Tale 3D," "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2" and "MTV Networks: Maroon 5 3D Concert" this month.
