Q: The People’s Choice Awards show has been on TV for 38 years and I have never known one person who has voted for it. How would anyone know how to vote or who the nominees are?

—Stephen Martin, Atlanta

A: Voting for The People's Choice Awards is done on its website – PeoplesChoice.com – and on Facebook and Twitter, show spokeswoman Johanna McCabe told Q&A on the News in an email. She said this year's nominees were announced at a news conference on Nov. 8 and fans can go to the website next fall "for news about our 2013 nominees," McCabe said.

Q: Has a team ever played a Super Bowl in its own stadium?

—Joan Noonan, Johns Creek

A: No, but two teams have played near their home stadiums. The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Los Angeles Rams 31-19 in Super Bowl XIV in the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif., 15 miles from the Rams' home stadium, the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, on Jan. 20, 1980. The San Francisco 49ers defeated the Miami Dolphins 38-16 in Super Bowl XIX in Stanford Stadium, about 35 miles from San Francisco, on Jan. 20, 1985. The Miami Dolphins reached three Super Bowls in the early 1970s (VI, VII and VIII), but none of them were played in the Orange Bowl. Super Bowls II, III, V, X and XIII were played in Miami in the 1970s.
