The Arc of Georgia, the Atlanta non-profit that advocates for people with developmental disabilities, is asking its supporters to pull a 147,000-pound airplane.

The organization's April 9 fundraiser will be held at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, where a rope will be attached to a FedEx Boeing 727 and teams of 20 participants compete by pulling the plane 12 feet. Twenty-member teams can compete for a $1,000 donation to The Arc of Georgia and individuals can compete for a $50 donation. The registration deadline is March 1; for more information, contact Deirdre O’Brien at 678-733-8969.
