Ten people have died so far in holiday weekend wrecks across the state, the Georgia State Patrol reported Monday.
The Christmas holiday counting period began at 6 p.m. Friday and ends at midnight Tuesday.
The State Patrol investigated seven of the fatalities reported through noon Monday, with the other three deaths being investigated by police in Smyrna, College Park and Newnan.
The State Patrol worked 309 crashes with 126 injuries through late Monday morning.
Last year, three people died statewide in Christmas holiday wrecks.
