3 teens killed in crash weren’t wearing seat belts; survivor out of coma
As a teenager injured in a deadly crash wakes from a coma, new details show only one of the four teens killed in south Fulton County on Monday was wearing a seat belt.
Ke’Ariy Lopez, 14, was the only person inside the Lincoln Navigator who was wearing a seat belt at the time, according to a crash report.
Lopez and three Langston Hughes High School classmates were killed when police say their SUV ran a red light and collided with a tractor-trailer.
Driver Cameron Jones, 16, and passengers Isaiah Gregory, 15, and Octavious Rhodes, 16, were also killed.

Survivor Lexus Todd, 16, recently woke up from a coma and is speaking with family members, Channel 2 Action News reported Thursday. She was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital with crushed legs and bleeding in the brain, the news station reported.
Todd was seated in the back seat of the car.
Police do not expect to file charges in the crash.
