New item..and fixed! Atlanta
Daniel McNeill alerted us of a problem, and then quickly informed us that it was fixed.
“I have something to add to your list of what’s not working around metro Atlanta. In Edgewood, there is a sewer water leak that has been active for over three weeks now,” he wrote.
“It originates at approximately 1358 Hardee St. NE and flows downhill around the corner onto Flora Avenue NE
were it slowly drains into a sewer leaving a perpetually odoriferous puddle,” he added.
He quickly turned around and emailed us and sent us a picture showing it had been fixed.

Natalie Ronay hopes something can be done about her Sunday morning drive.
“I am sending you an e-mail to let you know that when I travel to church every Sunday, Roxboro Road starting at Goodwin going towards Peachtree ……the road is so bad with dips and potholes.
We heard back quickly from the city.
“East Roxboro Road between North Druid and Lake Boulevard is in our boundaries and is scheduled to be repaved within the next month,” wrote Brookhaven’s electronic communications manager Ann Marie Quill.

Update-DeKalb County
We love hearing from happy readers.
“Thanks for publishing my question about the ‘water’ issue at Ashbury and Katie Kerr in Decatur. Since I sent my original email, the county has been out three times (the most recent just yesterday) and the water has been off one of those three times at my house.
“And, wonder of wonders, the grass on the other side of Katie Kerr did get mowed in the last couple weeks, but just the second time since the end of May. Keep up the taking to task!” wrote the Rev. Kimberly LeVert.
