Due to ongoing water leaks at city hall, the Suwanee City Council voted recently to approve a $54,950 contract with Everclear Enterprises Inc. of Atlanta for repairs. Prior to putting a bid out for the work, the city hired a consultant to evaluate the problem. Based on those recommendations, the city needs to repair the city hall building roof and window front curtain.

Everclear Enterprises was the lowest of five companies bidding for the work with the highest bid coming in at $287,178. An average of the three companies between the low and high bidder was $93,487. The approved bid was based on estimated quantities with the final cost dependent on actual quantities needed.

Funding for this maintenance project will come from the Facilities Maintenance budget.
