The Suwanee Police Department honored 10 employees for exemplary service earlier this week.
Officer Kevin Skinner, a patrol officer for the past three years, was named Officer of the Year.
Gwen Franklin, the department’s evidence and records technician, was voted Civilian of the Year. And Sgts. Nick Jacobs and Robert Thompson received the Chief’s Award.
Others honored by the agency were Capt. Clyde Byers, Lt. Dan Clark, Officer Elton Hassell, Capt. Susan Roetzer, Officer Michael Troutman and Office Robert Stewart.
