The Suwanee Police Department is recruiting volunteers to staff its new Park Ambassador program.

Those who are interested in volunteering for the program must sign up by Monday. Volunteers are scheduled to be trained on May 31.

City officials plan to start the program in June.

Volunteers will be trained to assist residents and alert the police or public works departments about matters that may demand their attention.
