Norcross is seeking additional board members to serve on the Sustainable Norcross committee. Recent accomplishments of the committee include obtaining recognition for the city by the Atlanta Regional Commission as a Platinum-level Green Community. Involvement on the committee will help the city keep this designation along with other green initiatives.

Recent retirements, work schedules, and family commitments have left the Sustainable Norcross board with four seat openings. Committee members meet at 6 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month at City Hall, 65 Lawrenceville St. Committee members advise Norcross employees, mayor and council on ways to maintain and improve sustainability within the city.
