The suspect in the shooting deaths of two men at a Cobb County home was arrested in Columbia County, Ga., Wednesday evening, police announced.
Charles Robbie Giddeons Jr., 26, of Austell, was taken into custody without incident in the company of his wife and children, authorities said. He is being processed through the Cobb County Adult Detention Center and charged with two counts of murder.
The two bodies were found in a small wood frame house between Powder Springs and Austell in the 3500 block of Clay Road, near Carter Road.
Officer Mike Bowman said that late Tuesday night officers responded to a third-party 911 call and found the front door slightly open, went inside and found two white males dead on the floor. Both victims had apparently been shot, Bowman said.
Graffiti on the walls could be seen through the open front door of the house, with the word "Playboi" inscribed on one wall.
Cobb County medical examiner's officials arrived on the scene shortly before 5:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Police have not released the names of the victims.
The investigation is continuing and anyone with information should contact authorities at 770-499-3945.
