The second day of winter won’t be terribly cold, but you’ll want you bring an umbrella because it’s expected to get soggy.

Sunday’s chance of rain is 100%, and it could put a damper on those last-minute holiday shopping plans, Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Eboni Deon said.

Areas south of I-20 could see anywhere between 2 and 4 inches of rain, Deon said.

The day’s high is expected to top out at about 48 degrees, so it might be best to bring a jacket along  just in case.

The wet weather should stick around for Monday as well, but conditions in Atlanta are expected to improve drastically just in time for Christmas.

Tuesday and Wednesday are forecast to reach the mid-60s as the clouds part and the sunshine returns.
