Sugar Hill’s new performing arts space, the Eagle Theatre, is nearing completion. The theatre is now dried-in with ceilings, paint, countertops, and floor tile installed. Furniture, fixtures, and equipment are being delivered and installed with the project expected to be ready for occupancy within just a few remaining weeks.

Sugar Hill broke ground in 2016 on the E Center, which includes the 387-seat performing arts theater, gymnasium, and 43,000 square feet of restaurant, retail, office and meeting space, all overlooking The Bowl.

Talk of the E Center sparked the interest of several investors. Breaking ground in 2018, the Nexus will bring high-end condos, retail, and restaurant space. There is also interest in bringing a 4-star hotel and conference center into downtown Sugar Hill. Capping off the downtown will be a multi-story, urban style senior living facility that will include independent living, assisted living as well as memory care and deluxe cottages.
