The Sugar Hill City Council voted Monday to approve enhancements to the city’s entertainment center known as The Bowl. The improvements, part of the city’s 2015 capital improvement program, are estimated to run $1.25 million, of which $26,000 has been spent so far.
On Monday, the next phase was approved with a contract awarded to Reeves-Young of Suwanee for $136,000 plus 4.85 percent of the construction cost.
Bowl improvements will include a new stage roof, green room, permanent concession area, pavilion, family plaza, lawn re-grading and VIP suites at the rear of regular seating.
