Sugar Hill gas customers will pay a little more to stay warm this winter. The city’s base service fee has remained unchanged for the past 15 years, despite rising costs associated with regulatory compliance, safety, locating services, billing and required system maintenance and improvements.

To continue to meet the city’s demands at the lowest possible margin, Sugar Hill will increase the monthly base service fee by $2 to go into effect with the January bill.

Even with this monthly base service fee increase, Sugar Hill claims to provide the lowest 12-month gas price compared to all gas marketers and other municipal gas systems in the state.
