Sugar Hill Golf Club will be closed Friday as a winter storm looms over North Georgia.

The golf course will remain closed through at least Tuesday morning, but golfers are encouraged to contact the course at 770-271-0519.

The city of Sugar Hill has not decided on any further weather-related closures or cancellations, but will continue to track the storm, spokesperson Varessa Butts said.
