At 1 p.m. Friday, Mount Vernon Highway will close from Sandy Springs Circle east to Galambos Way. For the Saturday morning road race, Mount Vernon will close at 6 a.m. between Lake Forest Drive and Sandy Springs Circle. Police will reopen this stretch by 10 a.m., after all runners have passed.
