Stockbridge Community Arts Center to open Saturday

The Academy Theatre will christen the new Stockbridge Community Arts Center on Saturday with “Tapas: Nine Short Plays about Rebirth and Renewal.” The center is at 146 Burke St. behind the Hamilton State Bank Building. Show dates: Oct. 4, 5, 11, 12 at 8 pm and October 5, 6, 12, 13 at 3 pm. Tickets are $12 advance, $15 at the door and are available at http://academytapas.brownpapertickets.com.
