Panola Slope, a mixed use development in south DeKalb County, is set to open next spring.
The 10-acre project on Covington Highway features brownstones, midrise condos and 12,000 square feet of retail space. A previous developer built the street-level retail area in 2007 but the project ended in foreclosure.
APD Solutions, an Atlanta firm, has since taken over the project. The company and county leaders held a dedication ceremony in November, pledging a 2012 opening. The development is the centerpiece of a larger effort to revamp the Hidden Hills area in DeKalb.
