Two new subdivision developments were approved unanimously May 22 by the Smyrna City Council.

They include 33 single-family houses on 11.3 acres at 3305 and 3311 Old Concord Road and 23 townhomes on 2.02 acres at 2881 and 2885 Elmwood Drive.

The 11.3 acres will be annexed into the city from Cobb County effective June 1.

Representing CS Realty Group, applicant attorney Kevin Moore said $500,000 is the price point for these homes near Kroger.

Speaking for David Woodbery of The Woodbery Group, applicant attorney Garvis Sams said prices will be $380,000 to $430,000 for the for-sale, flat-roofed, three-story townhomes with a gated entrance and rear garages.
