Lilburn police released a sketch Tuesday of a person of interest in an armed robbery and shooting last week.
“We believe someone will be able to recognize the person in the sketch and help us solve this case,” Capt. Ben Haynes said in the news release.
A man was robbed at gunpoint and shot in the lower back in his driveway on Greenleaf Drive around 7 p.m. Wednesday, police said. He was able to describe the suspect in the aggravated assault and armed robbery, leading to a GBI sketch.
“There is no indication that they knew each other at all,” Haynes previously told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
A witness reported seeing someone running up the street after the shooting.
